History

Built: Constructed between 1897 and 1898.

Origin: Originally served as a chapel for a former convent in the area.

Design: Features a white exterior, a prominent statue of Jesus on the facade with “SHJ” inscribed at the peak, and an interior with a central aisle, wooden pews, a gold-tabernacle altar, and a triptych of stained glass windows.
