Áine O’Gorman is a musician from County Cork. After spending years performing in bands, she began releasing her music in 2019, including a self-titled EP in 2021. Her music is informed by folk traditions and explores themes of hardship, diaspora, and history.
Lewis Barfoot is a British-Irish musician based in County Cork. She returns to SIRIUS after her HOME album launch concert in 2023. Her music is rooted in folk traditions, but incorporates other styles and genres, from jazz to swing, and reflects themes of diaspora, heritage, and loss. Her compositions are shaped by fingerpicked guitar and voice, with rich storytelling.
At SIRIUS, Áine and Lewis present a double-header concert and team up for songs in a one-off collaboration, sharing their mutual interest in folk traditions with a contemporary twist.
