Cobh Trad Fest 2026 | Battle of the Bands

Following the incredible success of our inaugural festival, Cobh Trad Fest is thrilled to announce the 2026 Battle of the Bands.

Taking place on Saturday, July 25th at the Promenade Bandstand, this competition brings together the best Youth and Adult traditional and folk acts for a high-energy showcase.

The Prize: The winning act will receive 4 hours of professional recording studio access to record their music.

• Performance: 15–20 minute full set
• Selection: 4–8 bands will be shortlisted to perform by our committee
• Judges: Expert judging panel to be announced
