About the Artist Karan Casey has been blazing a trail in Irish music for over 25 years. A lover of ballads, love songs, and searing versions of social justice anthems, she is known for making deep connections with her audience through song and storytelling.

• The Career: From her early days as a founding member of the supergroup Solas to her solo career, Karan has released 12 albums and appeared on over 80 others. She has toured the world, collaborating with legends such as James Taylor, Béla Fleck, The Chieftains, The Dubliners, and Mick Flannery.
• The Performance: Recently striking out to explore new areas of performance on the piano and spoken word, Karan’s live show is a dynamic mix of the traditional and the modern. She repositions women and songs in a universal setting, blending Irish history with a contemporary voice.
